What is Creative Writing?

Creative writing is the form of thinking and then expressing our original thoughts and point of views. It builds and brings out one’s own perspective. It reflects what an individual can express through actions, doodling, drawing, speaking and writing.

The teaching and learning of literature is a continuum; This course goes hand in hand with the children’s school curriculum, imparting a year’s worth of understanding in a shorter span of time. It suits the pace of the learner and fits the work comfortably in accordance to their own schedules. In this age and time – listening, speaking, reading and writing is recurring and incidental, therefore the objective of this course “Creative Writing” is to make the child proficient in their literary skills. We provide a combination of fiction, non-fiction, prose and poetry to sensitize the children on the various nuances of literature. . The prior knowledge expected for this course is necessary, as it enables the child to make good progress in subsequent levels. We have also provided additional activities and resources to help the children to learn independently and develop a better conceptual understanding. Essentially, the course progresses from picture composition, to writing and publishing their own stories and poems.  

It is a one to one Class Room session of 75 mins/day.

Our course is especially designed keeping in mind the adversity of the pandemic faced by our children. It has hampered their academic progression on a large scale. This course will give the child a continuity with the curriculum,  along with the insight of exhaustive vocabulary and communication skills. Overall our children will grasp an extra edge of expression.
